‘Shooting the Rain’ was created in Mpumelanga with puppetry, song and dance for an environmental conference in Johannesburg. Based on interviews with people from the semi-rural communities around White River, Shooting the Rain is a heartfelt story about a young woman searching for the answer to why her land is dry. Is it because the ancestors are angry? If so what can she do?
